I'm a basketball player and I saw many people are injured. I was wondering, how to avoid contracting the ankle and knee.

Keep your leg muscles to stretch and learn to land properly. Sometimes injuries are underway to see if someone has bad feet are flat feet or so, and even when your quads and hams are much stronger than others. So make sure you stay strong and flexible and control of their landings to the extent possible, no land with their knees locked so simple things. You may also registered their ankles for defensive purposes, and even with a knee brace if you do worry about injuries.
